The Faculty of Perioperative Care (FPC) is pleased to publish the full programme for the annual Faculty of Perioperative Care Conference, being held in Birmingham on 4 November 2017.
The theme of this year's conference is 'The Surgical Team: are perioperative practitioners increasingly working towards a medical model of care?'.
Commenting on the programme, Faculty Lead, Mr Charles Auld said:
"I have no doubt that the range of speakers and topics being covered will lead to some very lively and insightful debate! As with our previous conferences, this is a great opportunity to network with peers from across the UK and to add to your CPD.
"As well as being of interest to perioperative practitioners, the theme for this year’s conference will also be of interest to consultants and trainees who work closely with perioperative practitoners. Their attendance will help ensure that the discussions reflect a range of perspectives from across the surgical team and, hopefully, identify some ways in which such teams can work together more effectively."

Alongside the conference, for the first time, there will also be an informal get-together at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh's Regional Centre at 85 Colmore Row, on Friday 3 November at 4pm.
This event offers a further networking opportunity and also a chance to meet RCSEd Faculty personnel. We very much hope that you can join us to discuss your views on the Faculty and your thoughts on what more we could be doing to support you and your colleagues.
If you would like to join us for this, we would be very grateful if you could please email FPC@RCSEd.ac.uk in order to confirm your attendance.
