The full programme for the 8th Annual FPC Conference on Saturday 19 November has been announced, with topics centring around the theme of the surgical multidisciplinary team.
Our conference co-convenors, Susan Hall and Bhuvaneswari Krishnamoorthy, will each lead sessions covering the current challenges facing FPC professionals, and patient and practitioner safety. Later in the day, there will be a session on the experiences of the extended surgical team from a range of perspectives.
Jenny Abraham will facilitate the podium presentations for the poster competition on the contribution of the interprofessional team to the care of the surgical patients, with the day closing with the poster competition prize giving.
We can also announce that we will be running a pre-conference surgical skills workshops on Friday 18 November which will include the following practical sessions:
